TVNC sponsors Destination Imagination® for students in grades K through college in the north central region of Texas.
 
Destination Imagination® is an extraordinary non-profit organization that provides educational programs for students to learn and experience creativity, teamwork and problem solving. It is an exhilarating after-school activity in which students work in teams to solve mind-bending Challenges and present their solutions at Tournaments.

Coyote Ridge ES – Kinsella – 2nd Place, In the Zone

McKamy MS – Wilson – 3rd Place, Wind Visible

Flower Mound HS – McCarthy/Owen – 3rd Place, Wind Visible

Downing MS – Guthrie – 3rd Place, Change in RealiTee

And Flower Mound HS – McDaniel finished in 1st place in Texas Xtreme Creativity!  Xtreme is Texas-only, and doesn't have a Globals category.

Who Are We?
 
The Trinity Valley North Central Region (TVNC) encompasses the counties in north central Texas including Denton, Hardeman, Ford, Knox, Throckmorton, Haskell, Wilbarger, Baylor, Wichita, Archer, Young, Clay, Jack, Montague, Wise, Cook and parts of Dallas County.

School districts that participate at this time are Carrollton-Farmers Branch, Lewisville, Denton, Coppell, Perrin-Whitt, Decatur and Vernon along with some private and charter schools located within the boundaries of the above counties.
